Key Eligibility Criteria

  • Age between 18 and 75 years
  • Ultra low rectal cancer meeting the indication for Intersphincteric Resection (ISR) surgery
  • Underwent a prophylactic ileostomy
  • Scheduled for stoma reversal surgery within 6 months after the ISR procedure
